Mindanao Philippines Old Beaded Hair Barrette

This is a beautiful piece of craftsmenship from the Muslim areas of the Southern Philippines. It is beaded and mounted on what I think is a coconut shell.

This lovely hair piece is in very good shape. There seem to be no missing beads. The comb it is mounted on has all its teeth. It measures 3 5/8 inches from side to side and about 2 inches top to bottom.
